Bike Gear: Turn on Your Bike Light

I have been considering upgrading my front bike light for a while, but since it officially died last night, I guess now is the time for a new purchase.  I want a light that is bright enough that I can take my bike off road at night.  Here’s what I have my eye on:

Light & Motion Stella

  • Light & Motion Stella LED bicycle light - The Stella is supposed to be twice as bright as other LED lamps, which sounds great for hitting the trails at night, and stays bright for up to 5 hours.

NR MiNewt.X2 Dual

  • Nite Rider MiNewt.X2 Dual LED - I love the dual headlight feature for more coverage.  However, it only lasts up to 3.5 hours between charges, as opposed to the 5 hours the Stella claims.
